Eklavya Model Residential School, Tuensang strives to provide quality education of free of cost to children of low income families who are not able to afford private school fees. Since the inception of the school in 2008, several hundreds of children from BPL families have received their schooling here without having to worry about any fees. Students are provided free books, uniforms, toiletries, mess etc. The vision of the school is to provide a wholistic development to every child that enters the school as a student. Along with providing textbook knowledge students are given opportunities to develop social skills, vocational skills, life skills etc. Playing both indoor and outdoor games, maintaining the school gardens, keeping the hostels and premises clear, worshipping together is all part and parcel of a studen's life in EMRS Tuensang. The school has a dedicated team of teaching and non-teaching staff who work together as a team to nurture the students inside the classrooms, hostels and outside in the playground. The staff living on campus provides a homely atmosphere for the students. All the staff and students together form one big family.
